So, I am really trying to understnad what this Ulteo is going to do as compared to any other Linux desktop. I currently use OpenSuse or Kubuntu, and with the overwhelming about of Linux distros to choose from, I just wonder if Ulteo is one to keep my eyes on. It seems to set lofty goals, with the idea of making Linux a possibility for the average desktop user, but isn't that what tons of other distros have stated as a goal, only to not deliver?

I sure hope that somewhere, sometime, the right combination of talent and effort comes together to make a desktop Linux that anyone can quickly use. I wish Ulteo team luck, and will watch for a while and see if they can keep their development team on track (and avoid the pitfalls of other distros where the team starts not getting along with each other, choosing different directions, etc.).
