Hi swamy, How to upgrade ADP1 from 1.6 to 2.2 image, I googled something but couldn’t get thru.

When i try to copy the Radio image to sdcard i am getting permission denied. Any help would be appreciated.

The link (http://developer.htc.com/adp.html) I have given is meant only for ADP1; it is not for HTC Magic. I believe you did not follow that link to update HTC Magic.

It seems to be the update package is not meant for HTC Magic or corrupted. Please let me know where did you downloaded this and which link you are following?

Hi,

I tried upgrading the HTC Magic and I am getting the following exeception so I am unable to proceed. Please let me know how to fix this.

Installing form sdcard
Finding update package…
Opening update package…
Verifying update package…
E:No signature (5 files)
E:Verification failed
Installation aborted.

I used Android 1.6 Radio Image ota-radio-2_22_19_26I.zip
